Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a shared group tour?
No. This is a private tour. You do not join another group; our Russian-speaking guide shows only your guests around.
Are prices per person?
No. The price is not per person; it is based on the tour day and planned exclusively for your group . Usually, up to 8 guests are covered by a single price. Larger groups require a broader plan.
Are your tourist guides licensed?
Yes. We work with licensed tourist guides.
Where is the meeting point?
The default meeting point is German Fountain (Sultanahmet). We can also arrange to meet in your hotel lobby or at the airport.
How many guests can a chauffeured Vito accommodate?
A Vito is generally most comfortable for 1–6 guests . For more than 6 guests , especially with luggage, we recommend a Sprinter for greater comfort.
How many guests can a Sprinter accommodate, and does luggage affect capacity?
A Sprinter is more comfortable for larger groups. Capacity depends on the number of guests and amount of luggage . Please include both in your booking request.
How many guests can a private yacht tour accommodate?
Most yacht tours accommodate up to 12 guests . This is also a private tour, not a shared group tour — the yacht is reserved for your guests only.
Can a city tour and yacht cruise take place on the same day?
Yes. A popular itinerary is: pickup → city tour → private Bosphorus yacht cruise at sunset. We coordinate the timing as one itinerary.
For a Russian-speaking guide, put Cyrillic communication, a map pin, and realistic route pace in the same brief
With Russian-language guiding, it matters that the written program can be read consistently by different teams as much as the language match itself. When guests receive the program in Russian, also retain Latin-script names and map pins for hotels, squares, and terminals so transfer and hotel teams can cross-check locations. Daily intensity is determined less by the number of sights than by walking, breaks, transport, and fixed reservation times.
While presenting explanations in Russian, keeping the hotel's and meeting point's Latin spelling and map link makes it easier to reference the same place with local operations teams.
A walking-heavy Historic Peninsula route and a Bosphorus or multi-district route do not use the same mobility model. Vehicle waiting or public transport can materially change the day.
If there is a restaurant, flight, ship, meeting, or pre-booked admission time, provide it before trying to fit the tour around it later. The route should be built around these fixed points.
Which service page should own each need?
| Need | Right service | Why? |
|---|---|---|
| Private Russian city tour and cultural narration | Professional Russian-Speaking Tour Guide | This page owns private guiding and route support in one language. |
| Multiple days + vehicle/yacht/transfer | Tour Organization | Combines multiple suppliers and days in one operating plan. |
| Fair, meeting, or commercial interpreting | Fair Interpreter | Professional business interpreting is a different task from tourist guiding. |
Lock four details before confirmation
- 1 Confirm language and communication
Russian guiding and any secondary communication language
- 2 Write the group profile and pace
group size and walking/accessibility needs
- 3 Lock start/end and duration
Put the exact meeting point, end-of-day point, total duration, and priority visits in the same plan.
- 4 Separate fixed times and extra services
Clarify vehicle, tickets, meals, yacht, and non-movable reservation times separately from the guiding scope.
Be careful when comparing quotesThe same language does not mean the same scope
- Professional Russian-Speaking Tour Guide is for private city touring and cultural narration. Intercity transfer, airport transportation, and corporate interpreting are separate services. The point where guiding starts/ends and who supplies extra transport should be visible before the quote is approved.
- Professional tourist-guide minimum fees are announced each year by service type; confirm in writing whether a quote covers a tour, transfer, night tour, or package tour.
- Do not assume museum/site tickets, vehicle, meals, yacht, or similar items are included in guiding fees unless the quote states them explicitly.
